Hey guys, I'm having a problem keeping my crossfire 280xs cool. After about 30ish mins of gaming my GPUs over heat and everything freezes, And I have to restart my comp to fix it. I'm pretty sure its because my case is smaller and everything seems clustered together. I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion to me that may help my overheating problem, and if it involves purchasing something I only have $150 that I can spend right now.
Edit: Sorry it took so long to update, I fell asleep last night and didn't get situated at home to get on here until now.
I realized on the second card the fan wasn't spinning, my first thought was that my 850w Thermaltake PSU wasn't getting the cards enough power, so I had this 1000w PSU that I was using for a scrypt miner and swapped out PSUs, I try turning on the PC again and the fan still doesn't spin. Now I thought that it was the GPU was bad, So I have another of the same GPu and swapped them out. I try turning on the computer again and the fan still doesn't spin. Also, Before I had swapped out power supplies, I took my pc to the computer store by me and he did something in the Power Settings in the control panel that made the fan spin, but he told me that the 850w PSu wasn't enough so as soon as I got back home I swapped them. Since then I can't for the life of me figure out what setting he changed to make it spin.
