What psu for gtx 780

Solution
Short answer yes.

Long answer a PSUs efficiency band is within 50-75% load. more or less than this will eat up more energy than it should. i always recommend this for anyone running a 770 or higher

Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($87.99 @ NCIX US)

it is tier 1 (the highest quality psu) and it is really cheap right now

At full load your pc will probably be using roughly 450w at full load seeing as most psus actually only put out 80%-90% of claimed wattage you will be fine.

Depends on which PSU it is. The quality of the PSU's components is a major factor when choosing a PSU. Just knowing what wattage it's advertised to deliver doesn't tell us alot. If it a good quality PSU it should work fine. If it a low quality PSU it might actually catch fire when put under a load, or damage the entire system including that new $500 video card.
