Need help choosing a mother board

Here is my setup.

I am looking to make a micro atx build with a smaller case and was wondering if that mother board was worth it. Right now my local micro center has a sale on the fx 6300 and the Asus m5a97 mobo for $155, but it's a mid atx.

My main questions would be
1) is this a good setup for a micro atx case?
2) is the m5a97 worth it over the m5a78?

That mainboard is best mATX for amd setup I know. I have the same mb and cpu. But why then you're buying Mid Tower Case?

Well I was looking around for different cases I still haven't decided. Do you think for a micro atx setup this case and parts would be best?

I can't tell ya what is best, but building mATX system in mATX case makes more sense than in midi tower. Keep in mind, that mATX cases mostly are narrower, so huge cpu air cooler (16cm), such as CM 212, may not fit. But Raijintek Aidos (13cm) would fit probably everywhere, and performs even better (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Raijintek/Aidos/6.html). I have it in my narrow Zalman T4. Nice budget case by the way, looks awesome. You may also check Zalman T1. Enough space for fans in both cases.
