I have decided to buy this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202090
for my pc with this spec:
cpu: i3 550
mobo: dh55pj
ram:2X2gb
hdd:500gb Samsung
I know the specs are pretty outdated :( but I still need this pc for few more months before I upgrade it. but for the time being, will this card work on my current motherboard board? I will be playing call of duty series, crisis series and assassin's creed series (mostly) :sarcastic: . I don't mind playing on medium settings @ 1600X900 res if my cpu bottlenecks the gpu. :)

Solution
dude listen here, im currently using a core2quad q6600 dfi lan party motherboard 4x1gb corsair dominator ram, and a 500watts strike x psu mocular. and im using an r9 270x hawk , i never experienced any bottlenecking i can even play battle field 4 on ultra.
go buy it your i3 can handle it

You get the concept of a bottleneck? Of course it will run perfectly on your system. Just that you probably would have got the same experience with something like a R9 270 (which can run BF4 on Ultra setting with playable framerates), so that the extra you spend on getting a 270X hawk is wasted. Pair your hawk with a faster CPU and you'll probably get higher frame rates.

yeah iknow i also have a i7 2600k rig at the same time with a gtx 770 direct cu II asus, but with the q6600 it doesnt bottleneck that much my gpu runs at full 100% load during heavy gaming meanwhile my cpu is not maxing out load
so thats the reason why i can say that it will not bottleneck it. but btw my cpu is overclocked @ 3.6ghz using a cooler master v8 , he's using an i3 1st gen im not sure if its the 4 threaded version

Your overclocking might explain it then. A Q6600 @ 3.6GHz is quite a bit faster than a first gen i3.
