Hey.
I was planning on upgrading my Gpu.
Configuration :
i3 2100
8GB 1333MHz
Digilite h61mx el Mobo
VS450 Psu
500GB HDD
Point of view gt430
And a good ventilation case with one 200mm fan and two 80mm fans.

Which gpu should I go with. The 750ti or the r7 265.

And if I plan on upgrading to a r9 270 or a 660, how much would I loose putting it up with a Sandy Bridge.

Plus my mobo specifications read pcie 3(IVB).

What does that mean?

Be aware that the cpu will not hold the card back in every situation, only in cpu heavy games.
In general you will still be able to use higher settings and get better results .
Obviously this would not apply to a gtx780.
Check the 12 volt rail on the psu is good enough for the 660.
If you can, go AMD. Mantle (if it takes off)will help your cpu A LOT.

Oh thank you. Could you also please clarify the pcie issue.
Is it going to work only on ivy Bridge as a pcie 3 ?

Do not concern yourself with pci-E generations, it will make no difference to single mainstream graphics cards. It will run normally.

Thank you so much.
I'll go in for the 750ti, the gigabyte windforce OC edition.
