I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but if it isn't please move it. :)

So recently i got my first gaming PC and i have been enjoying it so far. But I've had a worry while i game. Are the temperatures of my GPU really normal?

I first started worrying about this after getting the free copy of "Watch_Dogs". I know the game is "Brilliantly" optimized and everything but this game caused my GPU to go an average of 90c and actually caused Windows to display HDD error messages.

Then after that i decided to try some other games. This the results i got for min-max. (All of the games are running at 1080p)

Hard Reset (Max) : (87c - 90c)
Hard Reset (Ultra, FXAAx1, Shadows Medium): (82c-88c)

Sniper Elite V2 (Max): (75c-87c)
Sniper Elite V2 (High/Ultra): (73c-87c)
Sniper Elite V2 (Minimum): (72c-85c)

Battlefield 3 (Max): (85c-92c)
Battlefield 3 (High) : (83c-90c)

Is this normal and should i stop worrying about my computer's temperature?
Also is it normal for my SSD to go to 62c while i game any of the games posted above?

Here's my specs

CPU: Intel i7 4770
Motherboard: Predator G3-605
GPU: 2GB PNY GTX 760 Enthusiast OC
RAM: 32GB 1333mhz
SSD: 22GB KINGSTON SMS151S324G
HDD: 3TB Seagate ST3000DM001-1CH166
OS: Windows 8.1

P.S: I also tried MSI Afterburner to 100% the fans..it doesn't do that much (1c-2c)

Thanks in advanced! :)

as long as it stays under 90c it should be fine
if it goes above 90c, clean its heatsink or use afterburner to adjust the fan profiles

I did use MSI a while back but it didn't do much of a difference since Watch Dogs was running the fans at 100% when it caused the HDD problems and BF3 did go over 90c while having the fans running at 100%. That's mostly my worry that is going to cause HDD problems or anything of the sort.

Does your gpu have a single fan or dual fans on the cooler? It sounds a bit too hot really.
Use EVGA Precision:http://www.evga.com/precision/
They have a slider with temperature target, slide that down a bit to lower but you will lose some performance . THis will cause the GPU 2.0 boost to boost your clock speed until it reaches that temperature.
Also what case do you have?
Do you at least have one fan blowing air in ar the front and one exhausting at the back?

Dual Fans
The Case is a Acer Predator G3605
Yeah, there's one exhaust and one blowing air.

I'll try that out, thanks! :)

i would use the gpuboost app and adjust the fan curve a little to bring the max temp down to about 85'c nvidia kepler cards will do 100+'c but that will severely shorten its life. like i said 85'c is about the max you want to let it go to...

you will experience unexpected force shutdown

I'd suggesting getting one or two more case fans if you have the space for them. Also make sure your cables or components aren't blocking any airways.

Seriously bro thanks for telling me about this software, I'm currently running those same games at a 70c-76c avg and at 50-60fps maxed except for WD which is now at medium 40fps
