Hey everyone, just gathered some components and im seeking advice from experienced builders to see if the parts are compatible, and to make sure im not bottle-necking anything.

Ill be using it for gaming and casual every-day use, maybe for some media usage as well. My current laptop plays games on low settings with a whopping average of 12 fps, which has lead me to become more focused on fps versus quality. I havent picked any cd/dvd drives. The reason for this is that i already have a few, and if they dont work with my build im not worried about it and wont include them in my desktop. As far as changing things goes, im up for suggestions, and basically just want to know how i did and what (if anything) needs changing.

I was originally hoping to spend ~$500, however, my friend pointed out that buying better parts now means i will be able to go longer without upgrading. This makes me okay with spending almost a grand to complete a superb computer which will need little tweaking in the next many years.

FINALLY, i used the chart on the following website to compare my parts. All seem to fall under the same category, so i think ive ruled out most of the bottle-necking and choke points.

Here is a link to my wishlist ive created of the items:

Two changes, you don't need a 750W PSU for your machine, a 550W one will do just fine, also, if you can afford it, get a decent 120GB SSD like the Samsung 840 EVO and use it as your boot disk as it will make everything much faster.
