I would like to downgrade windows 8.1 to windows 8.

check the microsoft updates list you should see windows 8.1 listed there. you can uninstall it from that list and windows should revert back to windows 8. problem is windows may become unstable so make sure you run sfc /scannow from the cmd prompt (run as admin)
