I have put a flash drive, usb optical mouse, and usb game controller on the usb ports but the windows doesn't recognized it although they are powered. I have other device such as usb key board, printer, and speaker, all working which are inserted in the same usb port.. I have another mouse working too which I intended to be replace by that optical mouse. All those said device that aren't working has been proven to work on other PC. I already try to shutdown my pc, unplugged it from powersupply, then turned it on but to no avail. I will appreciate any advice regarding on this matter...

Motherboard: Emxx780g-pro
PSU: AVTX 550W
GPU: Nvidia GT 420
Processor: AMD athlon 64 x2 5200+

The first thing you can try is to plug them in different USB ports.

I will look - somewhere on the Internet there is a utility that enumerates and lets you delete inactive but installed USB devices and their drivers. That may be a way to try as well.

Sorry for the late reply...I have tried it already...many months ago I have reformat my computer. All devices that are connected before the reformatting are the ones the computer can already read and can be use ..But news ones are the exception. I tried enumerate and delete the devices through command prompt but it says access is denied I can't removed any devices..
