My friend is buying a budget laptop and is choosing among 2 asuses.
One has an i3 3217U with Asus X552CL-SX023D and there is a sale on it for 320€
The other one has an Celeron N2920 processor: ASUS X551MA-SX050D and I think there is a sale on it for 250€
He will need it for poker connected on an 22" monitor. So which CPU and overall computer is faster? What does it mean in real life?
(Oh there were also celeron 1005M, pentium N3510 , N2810 and AMD A4-5000 (quad core like celeron n2920) available at this budget, with a lot of the same other characteristics (4GB ram and entry graphics), if you recommend anything that is better? )
Since I know most don't know about those programs specifically, read further only if interested. Thank you!
Holdem Manager 2 can use a bit of recourses to work with databases and they are recommending 4 cores and SSD disk (hard on this budget). In my experience though 4 cores and frequency means nothing, but it is the tests and the CPU structure that show the real strength (and i3 has hyperthreading anyway).
Also I have an old laptop HP 4710s with T6570 and I'm pretty sure I can still use it for the before mentioned programs.

I guess no one knows about those low range mobile processors. There are million of them and newer, older, so hard to compare.
