I recently had to re-install Windows on a work computer because of some virus issues. Since then I've had to re-install a lot of printer drivers. I downloaded a scanner driver from HP on to the client computer and installed with no problems. Then, I went to move the installer file onto my storage server. I started the write just fine, but Windows came up with a message saying I wasn't connected to the network. Sure enough my system tray icon said that I wasn't connected was reconnecting. I'm using Ethernet, not wireless. It didn't happen until I installed the HP driver. The funny thing is that before I did the re-install of Windows, the scanner software was loaded and everything was running just fine. Does anyone have any ideas?
