So i'm looking up some parts for a friend and i don't really have experience with AMD things.

The Processor i've picked is the FX 8350: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/amd-fx-8350-black-edition-vishera-8-core-s-am3plus-40ghz-16mb-total-cache-125w-retail

The board im currently looking at is the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P (On a budget with the board max of £70) http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-ga-970a-ds3p-amd-970-s-am3-am3plus-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-20-(x16)-atx

Would this one work and is there any better for around the same price?

Thanks :)

If you look at the chart, you will see VRM/Phase count. The ds3p only has 4+1 while the ud3p has 8+2, this means there is less chance of overheating. For the 8350, you...
