Help installing my new Asus M5A97 R2.0 and MSI graphic card.

I just received my new rig:
Asus M5A97 R2.0 Mobo
AMD FX8350
Msi R7 250 1Gdr5 oc Gpu
Corsair vengence 1866 4x2 Gb mem
and a Corsair CX600M PSU

Installed it all but when i switch it on only the led turns on, and fans
but the graphic cards fan doesnt work and the screen doesnt get any signal

im not sure what i did wrong here. could someone try and help?

Check all the power supply connections. Make sure the 4-pin CPU power cable is in, and check to see if the graphics card needs a power cable in it (don't think so, but check).

Hi, i did double check this options.
the GPU doesnt need and external power support. ive tested it on a different mobo and it works fine.
and regarding the cable, my new mobo and psu both have 8 pin instead of 4. connected solidly. :/

Sounds like something might be wrong with your CPU. That's what happened when I bent a pin on my Intel motherboard, and it sounds like you damaged your FX-8350.

Take it out and inspect the bottom. Make sure there are no broken or bent pins.

I have the same problem with this mobo with an fx6300, 4gb ram, asus R7 250 1 gb ddr5 gp, psu ocw 500w and I have no video signal. My gpu works fine with other system i tryed, and also this mobo work fine with other gpu.s I try. I updated the latest bios, but nothing happend. If I insist the system work fine until I shut donw the PC. My solution was I put an another old graphics card in the 4x slot, and then the r7 250 in the 16x slot works fine!

Hi ,strange but i have the exact same problem with mobo and radeon card .
i also re-inserted my old card and the new card and then the Radeon card is starting up and works.I'm still trying to find out what's the culprit here.
