Hi!

I'm new to all this, and in the future I plan to build a PC. I'm not sure though if these components will work together. Can you guys tell me??

- Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Case
- Crucial 2GB PC3-10600 DDR3 Desktop Memory Upgrade 240-pin Dimm
- Samsung SH-224DB SATA DVD writer
- Western Digital AV 3.5 inch 250GB 7200RPM Internal SATA Hard Drive
- MSI B85-G41-PCMate ATX Motherboard (Intel B85, 4x DDR3, DVI, HDMI, 4x USB3.0, GBE LAN, LGA1150 Socket)
- Intel Celeron G1840 Dual Core CPU (2.80GHz, 2MB Cache, 53W, Graphics, Virtualization Technology, Socket 1150)
- Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit

By the way, I'm just building a VERY BASIC PC now so I can upgrade it later.

Many Thanks!

Yes, they would work together. I'd recommend a better PSU though; That one isn't very good. Something from XFX, Antec, Seasonic or Corsair (HX, TX, and AX series only) should do nicely.

Thank you for the fast response! And thanks for recommending me a better PSU. I'll look into those brands. :-)

When I came to look at this PSU, it's giving me the option of fixed cables or semi modular cables. Which one should I get???

Thanks!

Well semi-modular is better as it has some detachable cables if you don't need them. It's up to you if you want to pay more for having detachable cables.
