Playing at that resolution, you'd probably do ok with a 770, and more than likely a regular GTX 780. But if price isn't an issue, why aren't you considering ASUS/EVGA/MSI?

Then I'd probably go with either, 1) the one that has the best warranty/customer service or, 2) the higher clocks

As enemy1g said, it's not worth it to get a 780 with that resolution, Just stressing the point. A 770 can max everything out with that resolution.

On topic, I would go with the Zotac cause of the warranty. It can also easily match the speed of the gigabyte when overclocked.

the higher gpu clock is in gigabyte but the higher memory bandwidth and memory speed is in the zotac

I would personally go with the Gigabyte GTX 780 WF OC Rev. 2 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E9M4QUA. Gigabyte is generally a better build quality than the Zotac and also comes higher clocked out of the box.

I've had the Zotac GTX 780 with the Titan cooler and it was a great card but I'd still go with the tried and true WF cooler.

People will get bad components regardless of manufacturer. The chances are smaller now than they were before, but it still happens, and it can and probably still will happen, with every different manufacturer.

yes but the complaints r all about gigabyte only and not any other manufacturer ?

If you look hard enough, there's going to be artifices for every card. And I personally own two MSI 780s. Doesn't bother me if I have to RMA or not.

I've got the ASUS GTX 780Ti DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSY1RVC and would highly recommend it. It's whisper quiet and has much better components than either the Gigabyte or the Zotac.

ASUS uses a custom PCB and VRM cooling and this model even comes with a nice backplate.

Zotac's AMP edition cooler is also good and is reasonably cool and quiet and I would say Zotac is an above-average company and offers 5years of warranty( Actually 3 years but additional 2 years warranty after registering online). Also in my region (India) their customer support is just brilliant.

If you'r seeing bad reviews about Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti WF then you should definitely opt for Zotac GTX 780 Ti AMP if their price difference is not much. Most probably Zotac AMP GTX 780 Ti will be a bit cheaper than Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti WF which again adds another reason to stick with Zotac's AMP edition

Also those small difference of clocks really don't matter since both of them having sufficient overclocking headroom

thank you all for your help i think i will get the zotac amp edition as i saw the difference between it and gigabyte at benchmarks is 2 fps for gigabyte but gigabyte many complain about it though the zotac is bit noisier but i dont think it will be annoying
