So I recently switched over from Xbox to PC and was won seeing if there were any games you guys would recommend? I'm HUGE into FPS such as CoD and BF, but I also like games like Skyrim and was thinking about checking out WoW and LoL. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Or if you guys could list your top 5 favorite games/series, I'll check them out.

It all depends on play style also what are your specs

Im more of an all around meele attacker but definitely love the stealth side of games just as much. I'm really not into magic so much though. And right now im just playing on a normal HP Pavilion 500-164 (Specs can be found here: https://www.bestbuybusiness.com/bbfb/en/US/adirect/best...) but within the next month or so I hope to build a rig with the following parts.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 270X 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card
Case: NZXT Phantom ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Well you can try WoW and LoL for free so there's no reason not to.

I know LoL is but I thought WoW had an annual subscription. I've never really played games like them before though, that's why I said I was thinking about checking them out. I was asking for recommendations for other games as well. Preferably FPS or something along the lines of that.

i really don't recommend playing world of warcraft due alot of unbalanced classes , go for counterstrike global offensive/heroes of newerth dota2 /COD/starcraft 2/LoL , keep in mind @ heroes of newerth you will be facing alot of trolls :)

If you are new to PC i recommend to the titles which made PC a popular great platform to game on in the first place!
Such as the Half life 2,Bioshock,Crysis! You might even like games Such As S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Another great idea is trying many of your Console games on there PC versions! you will find many offer a different experience due to Keyboard mouse and usually much more powerful performance!.

You are welcome to join Steam! *if you dont already have a active account* and you will find that many titles on Steam run at low prices and daily, weekly sales. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tomshardwarengames

And for the top 5 Games on PC! Which i Recommend right now! *not in order*
BattleField 4
Bioshock Infinite
Diablo 3
Crysis 3
Watch Dogs *if the game is patched up like i think it should be*

So far this is the best answer, i just want to wait and see a few more responses. But I'll definitely be checking out those original games you had mentioned, and ive heard nothing but good things of Diablo 3 and Crisis 3 as well, so ill have to check them out.

Well XCOM Enemy Unknown is also a really good game.

Most people have only suggested shooters to you, but the PC has so many options.

There's the Walking Dead games by Telltale
The Total War series is good as well (except Rome 2), they have Medieval (Medieval Europe), Shogun (Feudal Japan), Empire (1700-1900s World).

I know you're into FPS games, but they're like all the same.

You could try Loudout, it's a "free-to-play" online arena shooter where you get to customize your guns with all kinds of stuff. (Rocket Launcher that shoots healing bombs, Shotgun that shoots Eletric bullets)
