[SOLVED] On my MacBook Pro I keep getting a pop up security warning saying I have spyware/adware and to call this number (888-989-1476)

format your computer if you have the disks. back up data and do that. even if you use anti virus, it will probably still be in your computer. only way is it to format.

If you don't already have one, I recommend installing an antivirus engine (Avira has a good free option, or ESET if you want to spend some $). If the popup keeps coming back, consider using the free GEARS tool for a more thorough scan.
GEARS won't fix the virus per se, but it does use a bunch of antivirus programs to see if one of them will catch the virus where others have missed it.
