My current setup is using a phenom AM2+ 9750 2.5 x4 in gigabyte GA-MA74GM-s2 with 4 gb`s of ram.
I came across a AM3 Athlonx2 3ghz at good deal.My board is AM3 ready by flashing the bios.Since the new chip is a faster speed would I gain any significant speed using it in my pc?
