MSI GE60 2OE-002US Gaming Notebook 9S7-16GC11-002
- 15.6" Intel i7-4700MQ 8GB 750GB
- NV GTX 765M DVD/RW HDMI BT W8.1

your second link, is the better graphics card which for gaming is what will benefit you the best.

I would recommend saving a few hundred more, and getting a msi gt70 dominator with i7 4800mq and a gtx 870m, or
an asus g750 js, with i7 4700 and gtx 860m

Running through that site, finding the shark 3, and configuring it identical to the msi (2nd link above), it runs $1180. But it is fully customizable options except for a few things (one being the gpu, which is way better than the msi's). Great option, I've never heard or read reviews on this company or model. But if they check out decent, then looks to be a great option.

no, the 765 should be better than the 840m. The 840m is better at power conservation, but partly because its not powerful. For gaming, you'd be best off with anyting with 860m, that card replaced the 765m and performs close to the 770m, and consumes just a fraction of the power. It is the best all around card to date, not most powerful but best power to consumption card there is.
