Hi All,

I've spent all day trying to get this to work, and without any luck,(reading other reviews on this site as well as google) just figured I'd post my own thread on here to get some help.

I have an Acer Aspire M desktop, model: AM3470-UR12.

I have upgraded the ram to 8 gig, and have a 300 watt power supply.

I'm looking add an Geforce GT240 video card so I can combo it with my integrated graphics card to have dual monitors.

When I turn the computer off, unplug the power source, and then put the GT240 in and boot up, i get a blank/black screen (not even bios ACER logo) on both video card outputs (the integrated and gt240).

I've tried rebooting about 10 times with different combinations, and I only have managed to get the GT240 to show up ONCE, but then when I tried to install the drivers for it, the system crashed and it went blank.

I know the GT240 works fine because i have tried it in two other machines i have sitting here, but i really want it to work on this machine because it hast he fastest specs.

I have tried disabling the integrated graphics drivers in the device manager, and even uninstalling them, still no luck.

My bios doesn't have a section to choose or disable the integrated graphics card or select the card I'd like to use.

I'm really not sure why the card only worked for me ONCE and then crashed while i tried to install the Nvidia drivers..

Any help? =)
