specs : asus gtx 770 and 4670k z87-A board. nothing overclocked yet do to issues below.

wile playing elder scrolls online during a boss fight if a lot of stuff was hapening my game would drop from 50 60 70 80 fps whatever i was getting at the time all the way down to 2 or 3 and then stay there untill i loged out and loged back into the game.

i turned v sync off because i noticed it wasnt caping my framerates at all seamed to fix the issue.

the problem is that its doing the same thing in wildstar... big boss fights or pvp battles and it will plummit from 60 or 70 fps down to 5 and stay there till i reload ui or log out.

what is happinging is something in my system jacked up?

That is normal.

MMO are highly CPU bound. During boss fights your processor is like ZOMG I CAN'T HANDLE ALL OF THIS! Then you graphics card is like DUDE! GIVE ME DATA TO CRUNCH! Then you CPU is like DUDE! I R TRYING. But it just can't because it has to process so much information.. finally.. your GPU is like whatever bro. I will just sit here and wait on you.. and thus you get a lower FPS during boss fights in any MMO. It is normal. You sir have nothing to worry about.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!

elder scrolls online and wildstar is still new and unoptimized. Expect fps drops and bugs.
And also what jkhoward said . MMo can be very cpu intensive. Just because you have an intel i5 4670k, that doesn't mean every game will run butter smooth. There can be games that will cripple even the best cpu.
