Not bad. The FX-8350 is very difficult to cool.

Yup those are good temperatures. Those processors run hot and are very hard to cool as stated above. You could try re-applying the thermal paste.

Did you do the TIM yourself?

yes i built the whole pc myself but the thermal paste was already applied to the water block but thanks for the help

Those temps, while warmer, are good.

But more importantly, what clock speeds are you running? Overclocked? And when you say full load, what exactly is that? What voltages are you running? Is cool and quite enabled or disabled in bios? What type of case and cooling for case do you have?

Yeah I wouldn't bother changing the thermal paste then. At most you will see 1C less in temperatures. Those temperatures are nothing to worry about. Some chips run hotter and some run cooler. Yours happens to be on the hotter side.

Cheers!

My chip, full load, runs about 55-65c. Full load means prime or rendering. My chip is at 1.52V right now clocked at 5.2GHZ. Running full custom water, raystorm cpu block, 360mm rad and 240mm rad. Cool and quiet as well as any powersaving or chip slowing/limiting bios feature disabled.

Corsair 540 cube case, mobo side has three front fans intake (360mm rad), two top intake fans (240mm rad), two rear 140mm fans. HHD side, two 80mm intake fans running behind hhd hot swap bay, 40mm fan blowing on back of cpu motherboard slot, rear exhaust 40mm behind ssd raid bay, 80mm rear exhaust.

I wouldn't overclock it with those temperatures.

what is your fan profile set to, that seems pretty warm for stock clocks.

umm its very loud lol but they are the fans that came with the case and water cooler but i need new ones hopefully they can run faster and a little more quite

Wait so your running at 4.0Ghz and stock VID? What is your ambient temperature?

Every single day new threads about 8350 temperature. People, seriously?.. Did you hear about "google", didn't you?..
The official AMD FX-8350 temps are:
Tcase (aka core temps) = MAX 61.1°C
Tjunction (aka socket temp) = MAX 70°C

The only upset person here seems to be you. There's no secrets to 8350 temps. Such "questions" start to smell like a spam and laziness.
Nah, nevermind.

Please try to keep the attacks down...

I'm fairly sure that Tjunction refers to the temperature at the silicon junctions, which is essentially core temp. Tcase is the max temp of the IHS, and cannot easily be measured.

To put it plainly those temps are high for your Fx 8350. Providing you are running it at stock speed. You should be concerned. I recommend you reseat your heatsink with Artic Silver 5 or better thermal paste. How are you controlling your fans. If you are using software you should be on a medium if not high profile when putting you cpu under a full load. Also for kicks what motherboard are you running. In fact please post your entire system. Are you running the Nzxt Kraken X60?

Ps: Though those temps are high don't panic. They are not Way to high.
And Thank you for the privilege of responding to your question.
