When upgrading proccessers...

When i upgrade from my fx 4300 to an i5 4670k will i see any increase in gaming that are actually noticable besides MC, where its mostly cpu intensive?

getting real tired of my fx 4300, it sucks.

It depends on games played, and the rest of your system.
You would be hard pressed NOT to notice a difference! That would be a vast upgrade, that you will notice in almost every situation.

You will notice a difference in just about everything. Boot time.. web browsing.. gaming.. porn..

Seriously. The 4300 has horrible single threaded performance. The Intel CPU will destroy that thing!

I instantly stopped reading your post and began writing mine. It doesn't matter what kind of games you play. Anything, any game, doesn't matter, will be faster.

Not entirely. Some games will be maxed out by a 4300, and upgrading wont make a difference.
Also the rest of the system matters the most. If you had a gt 210, that would be a better investment upgrading.

I am a little confused by your post but from what it seems you will be upgrading the rest of the system as well. If that is the case an Intel CPU will offer more performance than the AMD CPU.

No you don't.

A Z87 chips is the preferred chip set for the i5-4670K.

Z87 is the older chipset, Z97 supports the new refresh processors, and it should support 5th gen when it arrives.
The Z97 will support the 4670k, and later upgrades if needed.

They are almost identical other than the support, and the newer board is actually cheaper. No reason to not get it.
