I am about to click BUY on amazon, for either a gtx 770 or a 760, I have the money for a 760, but I might stretch it for the 770 ONLY IF its going to be worth it at 900p.

Note a few things:

I currently have a gtx 660 sc.
I don't plan to upgrade to 1080p.
Will the 760 suffice to play at high (not ultra) settings on the majority of games at 60+ games? I am more concerned about getting 60 plus frame rates than playing at ultra 40 fps.

Any advice is welcome, I will buy the 770 only if its going to be worth it. lets say i will get 120 fps instead of 90 with the 760 on x and y game.

It all depends on your CPU, as that dictates your minimum and maximum framerates - and it looks like you should be all set. Unfortunately there is no CPU that can guarantee 60+ fps all the time in all games. Getting a GTX 770 will make sure you're never GPU-bottlenecked, though.

I don't think there's a 900p monitor out there that has a refresh rate higher than 60 though, and those extra frames afforded by the GTX 770 would be wasted. Try downsampling. My 1440x900 monitor does a custom resolution of 1920x1200 and 2160x1350 at 60Hz just fine, and boy do games look a TON better. My GTX 660 runs everything on High @1920x1200 at 40-60fps.
