looking to build a cheap basic system for bedroom..I have heard the pentium haswells are pretty quick should i go for one or save a little more for the i3 4150....will i notice a big gap in perfromance..peter, topeka, kansas

An unlocked Pentium sounds like a lot of fun, but it isn't very practical honestly. Who is going to buy a nice Z97 motherboard and then put a Pentium in it? Ok so a lot of people will! lol but they won't keep it for long. I would go for the i3.
