I have 2 HDD's One is a 1TB that runs Windows 7 and the other is a 500gb that runs Linux Ubuntu. I no longer want Linux on the hard drive, I just want to use the hard drive for extra storage, a slave? I have looked into other threads but they contain a bunch of console commands and things i'm unfamiliar with.

More about : dual boot windows linux uninstall linux

No ever since I put Linux on the other drive, the other drive has been undetected by windows where as before when it was a slave drive I could see it and was able to format it.

Well I figured it out. I went into Windows Disk Management and deleted the Linux partitions. After that I made the HDD go back to MBR and Formatted it and now I can use the HDD for storage again. Although I read that there is more steps if you use Linux GRUB to boot your computer. I had Windows 7 for boot therefor I had no issue with any of that.
