I have the following computer currently...
This is the stock ASUSCG5290
Motherboard: CG5290
Intel Core i-7 920 2.67GHz
Ram: 9gig @ 1333
Graphics card: GTX 260 896 Mb
Power Supply: 500 watt Peak power
My question is:
I am not really a hardcore gamer and I dont want to spend 700-900 on a build my own system if I can avoid it. I also dont want to spend 100-200 on a new graphics card only to fry my system.
My primary goal is to be able to play Star Citizen that is coming out. Basically I need a directX11 compatible card. but I also want it to run fairly nicely..
Any advice on what type of graphics card to get... From my research I should be looking at GeForce 660ti but again I dont want to fry my system... What do you internet experts recommend?
