ok, I plan on buying a DX4860-UB32P tomorrow for 150, not bad I think, but wanna know whats the best CPU for this machine.. I know the powersupply is junk that's a given, but want to turn this into a gamin machine... I currently have a dell xps 410 that im using now with a q6600 in it.. and a 5670 amd gddr5 1gb sapphire, is this gonna be a huge upgrade from what I got now?

I know that but for the price I cant say no, just having something that a bit faster is great, my q6600 is struggling cause its stock clock, and the dell xps 410 is a btx case, so I was worried about getting a 7770 because I don't think id have enough clearance on some

yup gpu, my btx dell I was worried about installing a bigger card because theres not much room, I don't see how the new machines cpu is a little weak for a 7770 if its faster than a q6600.. ive had people on here tell me a 7770 would max out the q6600, but ill check the 2400's here in the usa

also anyone know if this powersupply will work with the new machine? Corsair CX430 CMPSU-430CX V2

+3.3V - 20A --- 120W shared with +5V
+5V - 20A
+12V - 28A --- 336W
-12V - .8A - 9.6W
+5Vsb - 3A - 14w

Total power 430w

should be enough for the amd 5670 but is it enough for the rest of the Gateway PC?

alrighty thankyou, I don't plan on getting a 7770 anytime soon, and know that if I go for the i7 2600 or 2700 ill have to replace the powersupply I guess.., but the powersupply should hold with the 5670 in it.., im tryin to stress it now to see if it locks up or anything
