i have the MSI 970a-g43 motherboard and i plan on getting another gtx 750 ti but i don't know if the mobo supports SLI, newegg spec says nothing about it, so i don't know

MSI does not list SLI support at all. This board/chipset may not have licensed the Nvidia SLI technology.

Also the boards Crossfire setup is X16 and X4. Not exactly ideal.

If you want 100% confirmation, I would contact MSI.

I am going to say it is NOT SLI ready.

I think you are correct to contact MSI nuke but i will say that the Crossfire on my 970A-G46 will let me run x16 on both lanes in testing although i find x4 to adequate and pleasing in gaming. Even x2 with x2 anti looks pretty nice.

Most Intel Z chipset support Cross Fire something like basic build with the chipset ..
You MB just like this cheaper version
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87K/specifications/
For support nVIDIA SLI it need some extra component... but the low end model don't have

Ohh... Sorry Make a mistake .. your board is not Intel Chipset... but is similar ... that AMD chipset didn't have build in component to support SLI

Looks like i'm not getting another graphics card :( thanks for the help, it would have sucked if i had bought a 2nd graphics card and it had not been compatible with my system.
