Hi I kept looking at different threads that fit my need but I thougt I might as well make one. Well I have 700-800 dollars to spend on a gaming PC. I want to build the best of the best that I can get, I also will need it for everyday us but i doubt that will be a problem. I know nothing about this stuff, I want to learn but don't have patience to wait until I do. I don't think I have a monitor or keyboard or mouse but I can come up with an extra 100 for those. I want the best I can buy IDC if I overkill it I want to have too much power that I won't even be able to use if possible

More about : build list gaming 700 800

"I know nothing about this stuff, I want to learn but don't have patience to wait until I do."
You need to know stuff about this before even attempting to buy any parts, let alone build anything. You don't "wait until [you] learn," you have to learn yourself. The information won't simply come to you; you have to chase it down.

My suggestion is this: Look up what basic parts you need for building a gaming PC. Start out basic, and get more and more specific as you begin to understand. Whenever you come across a word or term you don't know (maybe things like PCI, SATA, PSU, etc), google it because chances are it is important. This includes words that you have heard of, but aren't positive of what they mean(for example, when I first got interested in PCs, I knew over-clocking had to do with processor speed, but I wasn't sure of exactly what it was or why people did or didn't do it) Your teachers may have told you not to use Wikipedia, but I'm telling you it's a perfectly good resource for getting a grasp on the basics. The main reason I like Google Chrome is because when I'm browsing and I see a term I don't know, I can just right click it, choose "Search Google for 'term' " and it opens a new tab and does the search. Easy-peasy :)

If you don't have the patience for this, then maybe PC building isn't for you. A PC isn't like a console, which you can plug in, update software, and begin playing. A PC takes a lot of patience. You must know what you are doing when buying as well as building or it is very possible that your money will have been wasted.

Also, you will need more than $100 for a mouse, keyboard, and monitor unless you are willing to go to eBay for old used ones (not recommended!).

I hope you have fun with this project; feel free to track this thread of mine click here since I have around the same budget as you. Happy researching! :)
