I purchased need for speed the run through Origin to play on my new laptop. It has plenty enough power to play (i7-4702hq, 8 gigs ram, gt 870m) but the game won't start. The blue circle spins for a second and the game shows up in the task manager for a split second, but the game never loads.
I'm suspecting that windows 8.1 64 bit OS is to blame. I've tried to troubleshoot compatibility and running as admin but it hasn't worked. Has anyone got this to work on windows 8 or 8.1? If so, do you have any tips? Thanks
