Hey guys, I was wondering if you can help me with this PC build I was thinking of buying. I'm still new to PC building and appreciate any help. With this build I would like to play games like Battlefield 4, Total War Rome 2 and DayZ on high or max settings. I was also unsure if I would need to keep the CPU cooler or change any other parts on it, if so let me know. Thanks.

Keep the cooler, its cheap, generally gairly adaptable as far as CPU seats go and would be a good choice of air cooler even for a high end OC rig even if you update to a beastly CPU later. (the 212 evo that is, stock heatsinks are universally meh.)

Nuckles_56

Admirable
That is a nice build there, though if you have the money, I would go for an intel CPU as it will perform better in games than an AMD one. If you are going to use that CPU, having that CPU cooler is a must as the stock one is terrible. You should be able to play on high settings for those games.

I agree with nuckles for the most part though ( the 212 evo is a good heatsink i guess he missed that) if you are certain gaming is all you are going to be doing a budget I3-4130 (dual core) will be a better cpu for around the same price. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-6.html
The trade off to this being that it is a dual core and the fx6300 will be better at many other tasks as well as the fact that the 6300 will allow for overclocking.

Otherwise your build is very good at that price, good job!
