I plan to get a new graphics card so I would like some advice. The current one I have is only 512 mb which is nothing for what I want to achieve which is gaming. I have a quad core with 8g of ram. I was looking at an nvidia gtx 750 for around 150 which isn't to bad and in my price range. I believe my psu is 600w if that also helps.

If you want the best price/performance, you are looking at a AMD Radeon R7 265:

If you don't care about getting the best price/performance and just want an nVidia card, the chart I linked suggests the 750ti.

Not sure about my psu I will have to check. Does the r9 run off of mb power? I would rather have one that does, guess it's my preference. What are some benchmarks with the 750 or 750 ti? benchmarks welcome also on the r9.
