Hi everyone!

I'm about to build a new gaming rig, and I can't decide between theese options:

1. i5 4670k paired with gtx 780 ti
2. i7 4770k paired with gtx 780

In my country the i7 is highly overpriced compared to the i5. He sitaution is exactly the same with the gtx 780 and 780 ti. So the i7 with gtx 780 ti is not available for me. But I wa t to build a pc which is strong enough to eat all games at ultra in the next 5 years (if it is possible). I'm gonna be playing at 1080p. So with option would You choose if You're me?
Thanks in advance for the help! And sorry for my english :)

Speculating on the direction an industry is taking is something that few are qualified to do, however in the near future if i had to bet i would say that we wont see significant gains in games from HT. Those that Try and use them now have seen no significant gains as of yet where the GPU is still the likeliest bottleneck.

Even the last gen I5 perfoms on par in BF4

IF your only focus is gaming, then of your two options id have to say - i5 4670k paired with gtx 780 ti
since the 4670k performs the same for gaming, however the I7 is much better at highly threaded work like video editing and computer modeling so keep that in mind.

Thank you for the quick replies! Yes, I'll use it for gaming only, no streaming or rendering. But is thee any chance that games gonna use HT intensively in the near future? Now only Crysis 3 and Bf 4 use it. And how big is the difference between HT and no HT (I mean in the percent if FPS)?
