logitech have a decent wireless solution and the build quality is pretty decent also. razer also have a decent wireless solution but there quality controll is pretty poor on a lot of there products (they really are bells and whistles over functionality).
input lag is the bane of all gamers and if you want 60fps minimum on your games you will need less than 16ms input lag to the screen. if your screen has a decent response time (less than 8 ms) then your good to go. if its 14 or above then your gonna have to limit your games to 30 fps to keep image quality to minimize tearing and ghosting... problem is not all games will allow you to limit them to 30fps. even when you set windows display adapter to 30mhz.

There is a small delay for wireles mice and keyboards often on the order of about 100 ms. there is also input lag on large LCD TVs, there are settings such as "game mode" that help this somewhat but they sacrifice color and image fidelity, which is why most pc games use lower latency monitors. as for wireless gaming peripherals, Razer sells some good ones. some of the nicer logitech mice are ok also
