I already own APC Back-UPS RS 1500VA bought in year 2009 ... replaced batteries 2yr back with some non-apc 7ah exide batteries... but now for last 3-4 months it is giving backup time of 2-3 mins (enough to shut down my system) ..
I was about to buy new batteries but I saw a new model BR1500G available in the market for 12000 INR ($200).
Now I am confused whether to buy this new model of APC which has lcd screen at the front and there might be some enhancement OR the other option is to just replace the two batteries for 1250 INR ($20) ????
If there is really big improvement in this brand than the old brand then I can go for it...
What do u guys suggest...?
