Hello, I'm a newbie.

My motherboard is Intel DG33FB.

I want to buy this sound card - http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_DG/overview/

The manual of sound card says the motherboard should have a PCI 2.2 (or higher) compatible slot.

Can anyone please tell me whether my motherboard can support the sound card?

By the way, the old little sound card pre-installed with the motherboard is corrupt, that's why I gotta get a new one. I've read the technical specification of the motherboard but I can't quite figure the PCI slot version.

Please tell me about it.

Update:
Motherboard's technical specification has this -
Instantly Available
PC Technology
• Support for PCI* Local Bus Specification Revision 2.3
• Support for PCI Express* Revision 1.1
• Suspend to RAM support
• Wake on PCI, RS-232, front panel, PS/2 devices, and USB ports

As far as I know, PCI express is where the graphics card is installed. I've got Radeon HD5670 installed there.

The motherboard has 3 PCI slots. So does that mean the version of these 3 slots is 2.3 , as it's given there in the manual?
