So I'm a complete newb to overclocking and working with BIOS related stuff to achieve higher speeds on my AMD FX-8320. Basically, I want to know if anybody with similar hardware to mine have achieved successful overclocks higher than 4.2 GHz, and what SETTINGS they are using.
AMD FX-8320
MSI 990FXA-GD65 Motherboard (6+2 or 8+2 power phase, I'm not sure)
1x4GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz RAM
1x4GB Dynet Hyundai Electronics 1333MHz RAM (this was a spare that I used to skimp money for other components)
Sapphire R7-260X GPU
I guess that's all the specs you need for overclocking, right? Please leave your opinions on optimal settings. I appreciate the help.
