Hello,
I just installed my new Asus HD7770 directCu V2 and installed the lastest driver. But the Clock is stuck at 300MHZ and memory clock 150MHZ. I heard that it could be the ULPS, I tried to disable it with MSI afterburner and it didnt work. I also bought a 650W PSU. When I play a game, the clocks are not increasing at all. I tried older driver.

Thanks for your answers

Config:
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A78-VM
4GB RAM
AMD Athlon II X3 3.2GHZ
650W PSU

Did you put it on the PCIe x16 slot? Is the PCIe connector from the PSU placed well?

I bought an adapter 6" PCI-E PCI Express 6pin to Dual Molex 4pin Power Cable. Its connected well, else my computer doesnt power on.

What do you mean by PCIe x16 slot? I only saw one slot where I can put it.

The slot should be blue, and it says PCIEX16 right next to it

yes, This is where I put it. Can it be my power adapter not giving enough power?

I don't think that's the problem. When you mentioned that you have tried to disable ULPS, did you failed at disabling it, or you managed to disable it and the 300MHz problem persisted?

i ticked disable ULPS and MSI Afterburner asked me to restart the computer. In the settings, it's still disabled but the clock is still 300MHZ.

Maybe it'd be best if you try this GPU at a friend, if the problem stays return it

Have you reinstalled gpu drivers?
Did you uninstall any previous gpu drivers?
What 650W power supply did you buy?
