I'm a photographer and trying to build my 1st PC for heavy photo editing (Photoshop, etc.), some videos/movies, and possibly watching BluRay occasionally when I'm taking a break. Any advice or comments would be much appreciated. Here's the list of what I'm planning to get: the 1st question would be whether the CPU fan/heatsink will fit in the case that I picked. Note that this PC is not for gaming, so I'm not overclocking, etc. I haven't picked any GPU yet as I'm not sure if I need one: please recommend if I do, or would the integrated Intel HD 4600 be good enough? Price is not the issue but I don't want it to be overkill.

Ok, here's couple of thing you should consider
1- The CM Evo 212 CPU cooler is too tall for the case. You should go with the Corsair h80i. It's much smaller, cooler, whisper quiet.
2- High profile ram sticks are rarely compatible with air CPU cooler. If you absolutely want to stick with air cooling, you might want to change your ram sitcks for low profile one (like corsair vengeance LP or kingston fury).
3- The Lian-Li PC-354B case already come with 2.5 inch bay. This means you wont need the adapters for the SSD.
4- You should couple your SSD with a hard drive. It will make it last longer.
5- Unless you add a high end GPU, you wont need 750w of power.

Spend the extra $20 and get CL9 2144 speed RAM. You could benefit from an entry level graphics card but anything higher than an HD7750 or equivalent will probably be over killed. The PSU is more powerful than you need. Even with a mid to high end GPU 600 watts of a quality psu will suffice.

A thing i could suggest is to use a mechanical hard drive for your mass storage (raw image, video, music, etc). You could couple the hard drive with a SSD and install your OS and software (photoshop, premiere, etc.) on a smaller size SSD. There have been issues where adding and removing alot of files out of a SSD might lead to an early malfunction. I know photography requires ALOT of space where you can easily remove and add new files, i'd suggest a high rpm HDD (like WD caviar black) or even two HDD paired in RAID for higher performance (2x WD caviar red).

Thanks for the suggestions on the faster memory and HDD. I do have external HDD for most of my files, and only copy it locally to SSD for editing.

How about the CPU fan/heat sink? Will it fit inside the case?

The case you chose is amazing. It's fully modular and has great cable management. The CM Hyper 212 EVO is an awesome cpu cooler when you have good air flow in your case. You might want to consider an all-in-one cpu water cooling radiator in a small environment like the PC-V354B.
Check out the Corsair h100i, it fits in your case. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181032&cm_re=corsair_h100i-_-35-181-032-_-Product)
