Im building a pc for good performance in editing programs with good rendering speeds and i also want to play most games in 1080p 40-60fps. Opinions on this? (It is Bang on the spot of my budget)

Cpu - i7 3770k
Gpu - Gigabyte gtx 660
Ram - 16gb corsair vengance
Mobo - Asus z87 pro
Cpu cooler - Corsair H80 hydro series
Case - Fractal design r4
PSU - Corsair cx750

I think you would do just fine with 8gb ram and if you later think that it's not enough then upgrade. I suggest getting a new GPU at some point like amd r9 280x when your budget allows it. Other than that the build looks good.
