Should i use "ECO MODE" on my EVGA super nova G2(750 watt)?

I just bought a new EVGA supernova G2 750w and it has a feature called "eco mode"
which will only run the fan under load or higher temps?
My question is for a heavy PC user(7+ hours per day) like myself should i use this or let the fan run all the time? Thanks

By running all the time doesn't that wear the the fan down faster?
I guess i just wanted to know which is better overall with more pro's than con's
