The Sapphire Tri-X and the Asus Direct CU-II have the best cooling, but I believe the Asus is quieter. You can look up some noise comparisons if that is important to you. The Tri-X is currently $424.99 with rebate and the Asus card is 409.99 with rebate on Newegg. The Sapphire Vapor-X 290 is also available factory overclocked and runs very cool, but is much more expensive at $469.99 without free shipping on Newegg.
