Hi, having a hard time wording what is going on but I need help. Basically, my screen wont display anything till after my BIOS has booted and windows is loading. Frustratingas I cant get into my BIOS because of this. This is after an upgrade from old motherboard and processor to new.

Specs:
Samsung SyncMaster S22B300
i7 4930k
Corsair H80i cooler(only mention because computer wouldnt boot with my corsair commander unit attached at the same time as this)
Gigabyte X79-UD3
F20 BIOS
Radeon HD 7970

Solution
A lot of things could cause this but it should still be fine. You will just need to hit the delete key while you can't see anything to get into the BIOS. You should be able to set the bios to delay boot for a few seconds so you can actually see the screen turn on before windows boots.

NOTE: used to be rare but some custom BIOS's I've lately also use F2 (my ASUS motherboard is F2 or Delete).

I'm assuming this is just a delay to display and not an issue of it not displaying at all..

Cheers for replying so quick, shame about my reply time.

Tried what you said and it worked. I have tried this before and it had not worked then. It seems at the moment that half the time it will boot fine and the other half it doesnt get past the screen being off issue which has stumped me a bit. I can get to BIOS now but only about half the time.
