You clearly have not looked at the reviews. They will perform almost the same. It just happens that the r9 295x2 can dump heat outside the case via the radiator but if you were really going to overclock the R9 290x CF, you would want waterblocks on them anyway.

You can get XFire R295x2 for the same price as one Titan Z.
A single Titan Z is basically two Titan Blacks, while a R295x2 is two R29 290X, so the Titan Z will be overall better if you only want one card.
Obviously though, the two R295x2s are better than a single Titan Z for the same price.

Hope I helped :D

The R9 295X2 would be a better option as it's cheaper and runs cooler, and can dump heat outside the case, so there's no chance that it's heat will start to damage other components. If you don't plan on using double precision a lot, then you would definitely want the 295X2

Hi guys,

if I may add:

2 290xCF > 295x2>titan z

coming from 780sli MSI TF to a 295x2, i agree that heat dumped outside (295x2) definitely better than dumped inside (780sli). I assume titan z will be slightly hotter than my 780 sli due to more circuitry, but I most likely be wrong as the titan z is clocked much lower (1045 vs 876Mhz).
Price wise go 295x2 crossfire for the price of ONE titan z.

Just my thoughts.

Cheers.
