Hello!! First of all LOVE Tom's Hardware. As a gamer on a budget I have often taken the recommendations of this site and will continue to do so.
Recently I made a big leap of video card upgrades from a Geforce 610 to a GeForce GTX 760Ti but am still noticing some less than desirable frame-rates while playing League of Legends. At the start of the game I have roughly 120FPS with max settings but as the game progresses and more action unfolds I am only getting 40ish FPS. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest where my biggest bottleneck is..
(My rig so far)
GeForce GTX 760 Ti
AMD Athlon II x4 640 3.0ghz
ASUS M5A78L-M LX
Windows Vista Home Basic
12gb of DDR(2?) The RAM does not match. One stick of HyperX (4gb) and another unknown type.
So my questions are.
What should I upgrade next and see the biggest jump in performance?
Mobo?
Processor?
matching ram?
any other suggestions are welcomed!
