It's locked to 60Hz and doesn't have Gsync. Apart from the higher resolution and it (apparently) being a "good" TN panel,
The one negative I would say is the response time, while fine for gaming, it is slower than an TN based 3D monitor I have. Personally I only notice this when playing DOTA. Which is very fast paced, so is kind of understandable. If your not coming from a pure gaming TN monitor you may never notice though
You're gonna need a bigger card - SLI for sure at that res and even that won't guarantee 60fps
A 780 Ti can just about get playable framerates at 4K with current games, a 680 won't really keep up unfortunately. Also on a 28" monitor you'd need to have your nose against the screen to see any appreciable improvement above 1080p.

Here people are complaining about flickering with gtx 690 https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/746467/samsung...

I have a MSI GTX 780Ti graphics card... does it handle demanding games even in 4k?
Thank you.

For gaming just half the resolution to exactly 1920x1080 and you'll get no scaling artifacts.

UHD, all monitors struggle, Tomorrow I am buying the same monitor and using it with my R9 290X. Rest of specs below in my sig.

I love the look of it and also the clarity, saw it in store and motion blur is minimal, image quality is amazing and going from 1080p will be your best decision ever made. I found from 1080p to 1440p was amazing, so the jump to 2160p had to come for me.

All Graphics card Setups, including most SLI/Crossfire setups(780Ti also) struggle at 2160p, it's what to expect if your an ultra gaming person.
