Hi there! I am thinking of upgrading my CPU so I can record games such as Minecraft, Dota 2, Tom Clancy Ghost Recon, I don't intend to play and record the latest games but I want to do some decent ones. At 720p and 30 fps. I have a bout 200 USD could possibly go higher if need be. In doing so I will need to upgrade my motherboard so as I said I can go slightly over.

What do you currently have?

Intel Core i5 4670K. It will be about $230, but it will handle anything you throw at it. You also have to consider the CPU socket on your motherboard though. So if your mobo doesn't have an LGA1150 socket, then you'll have to upgrade that too.

Add ram to that, unless you are using DDR3, currently.

So you have $200 to spend on a CPU? What motherboard and CPU do you currently have?

I've updated this post after reading your last post. Since you've already got DDR3 RAM, then we only need to focus on CPU and motherboard. This is the best I could build using Intel whilst in your budget, I'm sure others may be able to find a better setup.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($44.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $234.98
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

With your current GPU, it's not a bad build in my opinion. Just ensure your PSU is adequate, and if you're planning to use your current HDD/SSD/ODD ensure that it's SATA and not PATA/IDE.

All the best. :)
