Hello,

I got an XP pc. It has got parts I want to change. And I got WIN7 OEM
A new HD (western black 1T)
A motherbord N68C-S UCC
An AMD Athlon II x2 270 3.4Ghz 2MB AM3
EVGA 660 FTW GTX
2x 4Gb DDR3
Power Cooler Master Modulaire 850W

Now windows 7 OEM will lock itself to some hardware.
I have no idea when that happens.
What do I need to do first?
Put all hardware together?
But how do I install the drivers and software for the hardware if windows is not yet installed? I must have something of an OS to do this, right?

Do I first do windows7? But I need to have some hardware installed anyway, or else I have nothing that can run W7...
And what about installing hardware áfter I have installed W7? How does that work with OEM?

What is adviced as order in which to install/put stuff together?
I'm expecting lots of pleeps and stress :p

With kind,
Bitemaster

ps: I know OEM is for shops, but I understand MS is kinda looking away, and the only issue with going OEM will be it's system locked, and you get no customer service from MS when the fan get's hit.

oh...I forgot...I got a double barring fan in it too, lol.. :)

install every hardware(you need cpu, motherboard, gpu, ram, power supply, dvd drive and hard drive connected together.) Boot the system up, open the dvd drive and put in the dvd.
After windows is installed, you can use the cd from the motherboard box to install the motherboard drivers. Then you can download an antivirus, other browser and gpu drivers from Nvidia own website to be updated. Then go to your motherboard's drivers and update to the most recent one if possible.
