Best way to insulate Phanteks PH-TC14PE fan clips?

Hey guys, I will have to insulate the fan clips on the cooler (because they will be in contact with my first R9-290). Any good ideas?

I heard Electrical tape may slip or leave a sticky residue, which I would not like.

you can get shrink tubing. It is made to go over wires and shrinks with a heatgun or even a hair dryer in a pinch.

If the Phanteks clips are anything like Noctua ones, you may be able to bend just the section that sticks out and avoid issues.

It stuck out quite a bit more, the bend was easy in a vice.
